What is the one question...
What is the one question you would like the opportunity to ask ALL of the presidential candidates?

With some of the candidates doing these online chats where you could submit questions, what is the one question you want each of them to answer?

For me, I want every presidential candidate to explain where they stand on the issue of representation in the Congress, for DC residents. DC voting rights is an issue dear to my heart, and I cannot support any candidate who is on the wrong side of the issue.

For example, I'm going to be logging onto John Edward's webcast in 15 minutes at 9:30 PM EST. I think he might be taking questions.

If I have an opportunity to post a question to him, I'm going to ask him to explain why, in 2004, he (along with 5 other Democrats running for President), asked to have their name removed from the ballot here, simply because we were trying to spotlight our lack of representation in the Congress. And to do so, we had a non-binding presidential primary right before Iowa and New Hampshire.

7. Will you hold the criminals in our government accountable?
I feel that accountability to the people is important. Saddam was held accountable and paid dearly, much of the Middle East sees President bush as a thug just as bad as Saddam was. (They both invaded countries under false pretenses, both used WMD against their enemies as well as their own people and innocent civilians, both oversaw the imprisonment of thousands and allowed torture to be used, both were strong destabilizers of the Middle East and etc.) So will YOU represent us by holding our criminals accountable for their actions?

8. Here is Sabrina Rockareana's response
http://www.giantradio.com/cookie.html click on Mr. President You'll need Real Player and an ear for punk music... I do like what she says so poignantly, here are the lyrics:

Mr. President sir
I would like to be assured
Will you act on my behalf?
Never take a promise back?

Your countrymen are full of doubt
all their leaders sold them out
frightened-torn apart
prove to us you're pure of heart

We need to know
that you are one of us
help us
rebuild our trust.
We need to know
that you live by the rules-
the same set we are held up to.

Once again
shown the past
have times changed as much as that?
What we've all come to expect
for ourselves is SO MUCH LESS!!!
