Breaking: President Bush has Walter Reed fired.

Washington, D.C.: Citing the recent scandal over conditions at Walter Reed Hospital, President George W. Bush today ordered the resignation of Army Major Walter Reed. "The idea that this Major could allow so many of our beloved troops to suffer injuritudes is indefensibitle," the President said, "now watch this swing."

Major Reed was not available for comment.
