Irony, Ann Coutler, and Homophobia

What I find even more shocking than the hate that has, once more, come out of Ann Coulter's mouth is the irony of the situation here on DU.

All these people are talking about how much of an evil person she is for her homophobia. In the midst of this "homophobia is bad" fest, we have so many people make the "mAnn Coulter" etc comments. Do you not see the irony, ne hypocrisy, of this? Do you not see that you are as bigoted as she is?

To all the transsexual members of DU, I apologize for these asshats making this comments. Please don't judge us all here by these people.

I can't remember which DUer pointed out to me how hurtful snarky references to Coulter's gender can be, but I've never forgotten, I've never done it since, and I'll never do it again.
