Is this what Conservatism has become?
Edited on Fri Mar-02-07 08:48 PM by ck4829
Looking at CPAC and if you didn't know what it was, you might have confused it for a series of seminars on personal attacks and name calling.

You Conservatives should all be ashamed of yourselves, attacking people based on how much they weigh and using derogatory names. I bet first graders could launch their own 'political action conference' and it would be much more sophisticated and mature than the show you all pulled off.

2. i watched it on and off today and each the hate got amped up with each new
speaker, by the time it got to the hyperbolic hag it was on 11. Republicans should be really embarrassed, it was like a klan meeting with suits.

6. No shame, they would have to feel some
sense of guilt for that and that would require a conscience. Cons have never done anything for this country, for the people. Selfish, mean and totally self centered, unless something happens to them or theirs they don't give a damn about anyone else.

9. Coulter is not a conservative. She is a rightwinger who enjoys attention.
She represents no one. She is the darling of the right because she infuriates the left. And we never can learn to ignore her.

10. This is about more than just Annthrax
Democrats are "undermedicated" and "psychotic"
- Jan LaRue of Concerned Women for America

"Until Moses comes down from Brokeback Mountain with two stone tablets saying we've changed the rules, let's keep it like it is!"
- Mike Huckabee

Ben Shapiro alleges that “the Left” will eventually claim that there is a right to child molestation.

Arlen Specter attempts to convince a sparse but hostile crowd that he shares a great many of their right-wing positions and has been good on the issue of judges, and then witness him receive his only real ovations when he mocks Sen. Ted Kennedy’s weight and mentions how much he misses Sen. Rick Santorum.

11. Coulter represents every single Republican.
As long as she speaks for them... and they allow her to speak for them
she is the voice and the opinion of republicans, conservatives, right wingers, and freeps everywhere.

15. It's not what conservatism has become, it's what nazism is.
These people have nothing to do with conservatism.
