I have to ask this
Why isn't Senator Edwards or his campaign responding to this piece of shite Ann Coulter? I hope Elizabeth Edwards smacks her silly.

2. Maybe it's just not worth it?
 I don't know, but my guess would be that they may just be ignoring her, since she seems to feed on any kind of attention, positive or negative. Just my $0.02. :)

3. It's beneath their notice
Does a married man with children and no Congressional pages in the closet really have to respond to oblique charges of being a "faggot"?
I think not.
The covert behavior that could generate such a charge seems to be a republicon specialty.
I recommend she look up MARK FOLEY.

7. Never wrestle with pigs.
You only get dirty and it pleasures the pigs.

Besides ... Coulter has already called Kerry and Clinton gay. She's obviously a serious mental case.

15. It is NOT a slander to be called gay.
Edited on Fri Mar-02-07 09:44 PM by TahitiNut
Kerry was slandered by the SwiftBoaters ... by claiming he committed crimes (false reports) and was a liar and coward - when the opposite is provably true.

Edwards has not been slandered. Hell, I've even been 'accused' of being gay ... and even though I'm hopelessly straight, I didn't regard it as an insult. Just because the homophobes and bigots think it's an insult, I sure don't have to think so.

I've been called many things for many years ... some of which I don't regard as insults and never have. Hell, I was called a "n_____-lover" in the 60s too often to count. Screw the bigots. I'll wear such 'names' with pride.

If I were Edwards, I'd say something to the effect that Ms. Coulter's slur of gays betrays her ignorance and bigotry and deserves no further comment. I'd then say that I just wasn't interested in getting the votes of people who think being called gay is an insult or from people who think language like 'fa____' is OK.

I feel a bit guilty, however, insulting pigs by comparing them to Coulter. I actually like pigs. They're smart and they taste good. :dunce:

9. It's the "don't wrestle with a pig in shit" theory
You just get covered in shit and eventually realize the pig is really enjoying him(her)self.

are a pretty small *blip* in a nation of millions.

17. The woman is certifiable. I wouldn't take her seriously either.
This is not going to harm his image where it counts, with us. If the moonbats want to follow in lockstep behind Ann Coulter's slime trail, it's not going to hurt Edwards at all.

For such hate talk. They invited the excuse for a person to talk at the CPAC.
