How to Look up Privatized Walter Reed Contracts
Edited on Fri Mar-02-07 09:55 PM by CorpGovActivist
1. Go to FedBizOpps: http://vsearch1.fbo.gov/servlet/SearchServlet

2. Type in "Walter Reed" (in quotes) in the search box.

3. Select "Both" active and archived documents, instead of just active docs.

4. De-select "All" for types of documents, and select both "Award" and "Special Notice".

You can hem in the timeframe by scrolling further down the page, if you wish. The most recent contracts - announced after the story broke - are extremely telling about the more serious problems.

For those who like to have the primary docs.

Best,

- Dave

1. Thanks for this! Bookmarked! I have an OT
question for you. Would you happen to have Rep. Waxman's e-mail address? The OP of this thread wants to know:

5. Sudden IT Expenditures...
... certainly raise questions.

Makes me wonder about whether the families will have some new info to share on the true status of the military's EHR (electronic health records) initiatives: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=veterans+defense+ehr

7. Yep - laptops and, if you scroll a little further, the need
for medical coders.

That's why I assumed the filing system for medical records.
