52. Surprisingly There Are Some Good Ones...

I preface this by saying Scarborough got on my radar 10 years ago and I couldn't stand the sight of the guy. He was a hatchet man during the Clinton inquisition and then an early booooosh licker. He left the House and got on the tube and some time during the '04 campaign I started to see him go off the reservation and off the talking points...especially on Iraq. I think he "got the memo" from Rove and instead of shutting up and dancing, he started to get a little more vocal. Somehow getting away from the Beltway got Joe away from the kool-aid. Then last year...between Schaivo (he has a disabled child and has been extremely critical of the cuts in health care and then the government attempting to play god in the Schaivo case)...the tipping point, IMHO was Katrina. He could no longer play appologist for all the greed, ineptitude and corruption he saw going on. Shortly there after I started hearing him become critical about Iraq and what was going on in the military (he used to represent the military area of Florida). Rumor also has it that Joey wanted to run for Senate in '04 and Rove and Jebbie shut him out to give the shot to Mel Martinez. So there's a bit of personal involved here.

Joe almost reminds me of another Repugnican...back in the early 90's...this person was the personification of evil and arrogance. After something personal happened, this person's life's view began to change and thanks to intervention from Bill Mahrer and Al Franken, we saved Arianna from irrelevancy. :rofl:

Rarely do I ever say anything good about a Repugnican, but I've kinda grown to like Joey. Plus he plays a mean guitar and knows his Frank Zappa. How can he be all bad? Now really.
