Gonzalez Appearance Unwelcome By Some Law Students
(CBS13) Protestors made a run for it over to McGeorge School of Law today to speak their mind on the war on terror. The target of their anger-- U.S. Attorney General, Alberto Gonzales who was invited to speak at McGeorge.
With a glance and a wave, It didn't take long for the attorney general to figure out he wasn't exactly being welcomed by some in a group of McGeorge students.
These protestors --many of them law students from McGeorge cut to the chase as they told us, in dramatic fashion, why they were here
Rights being violated, this group would argue, by the U.S. Attorney General's office:
As they carried signs targeting the man who hired Gonzales-- President Bush.

The tactics for handling the media's coverage of the attorney general's speech was a bit puzzling today. At first, CBS13 was told we'd be allowed in. Then, they shut all media out.
