Lieberman to give Weekly Democratic Radio Address...

If this is the result of a Lieberman-threaten-to-officially-turn-republican thing, then we're getting REALLY close to the point at which it's not worth it. The Senate is ALREADY frozen into inaction because of the fuckwipe Connecticut electorate.

If this isn't, then fuck Reid - along with the Connecticut electorate.

EDIT: "the" -> "then" typo.

1. Democratic contributors should demand that Lieberman not be allowed to use our money to broadcast
his speech.

29. Ummm.... Somebody who's so fucking stupid that they can't tell the difference between...
Edited on Sat Mar-03-07 01:39 AM by BlooInBloo
... a statement about an *aggregate* - like an electorate - and an *individual*?

If so, then it would appear that a lot of fucking pissants come from Connecticut. Perhaps that explains the fuckwipe Connecticut electorate's jackass choice for Senate.

EDIT: Run along now, and cry to the mods.

with his threats to defect to the Repugs. He needs to be petted like a big whimpering dog.:puke: Gawd I can't stand that man.

11. Well, then, he needs to sit by the phone and wait for the call to do the
weakly independent address, and leave the Weekly Democratic Address to the duly elected Democrats.

17. The Senate is killing me.
They don't seem to be doing shit. And the excuse I always seem to hear is "we don't have the votes". Well, so what? If you know you're gonna get voted down anyway, you might as well go big. Screw this non-binding pussyfooting around. Go for impeachment. Get voted down. Repeat. What have they got to lose? The '08 elections are gonna be a big (unhappy) surprise if they don't show some cojones and stand up for what's right.

19. Yup - showing people what would be possible with appropriate voting would be HUGE...
... well, except for the Connecticut electorate, I suppose - I doubt there's any serious rationality to be had from them.

9. WTH? Lieberman isn't even a democrat anymore so why is Reid
letting him speak for all of us? We have some great voices in the Senate. I don't understand why Reid would let Lieberman and his enormous ego use our airtime to promote his agenda instead of ours??

:argh:

Edited on Sat Mar-03-07 12:23 AM by Nutmegger
I'm absolutely fucking LIVID! What the fuck is wrong with the leadership? They prop up LIEberMe while he uses every opportunity he gets to smear, criticize, and threaten the Democratic Party?!

To the media, the Dem leadership and everyone else: LIEBERME IS A GODDAMN FUCKING INDEPENDENT! He does not represent the Democratic party.

Calling him otherwise and then supporting his sorry ass instead of ignoring him is a direct insult to me and the good Democrats here who voted his ass out in the primary.

I also take umbrage at your tone. I'm just as guilty as electing LIEberMe as you are of electing George Murder Bush.

27. “Khi am hnot ank hanimal. Khi’m han khidependant khde-mo-crut.”
Someone is obviously not looking for ratings on this address. Only hound dogs or RW kool-aid drinkers could stand more than a minute of Holy Joe’s whining. What is most scary, is that the Party leadership must be looking (or totally unaware of the connection) for quotes from this selfish MF that will be associated with the Democratic Party.

Cut him loose already. Do not give him any more credence to be the Fox star pundit that he is probably already contracted to be should the CT electorate finally finish the job they started with the ’06 Democratic Primary. Then again, why should Fox pay for milk they get for free. Then again, they more than likely put down campaign contributions for the cheese.

This is a big mistake. Will Rick Santorum deliver it next week?

He's not even a Democrat!

Harry Reid shouldn't be Senate Majority Leader if he's going to give in to Lieberman. He's been disappointing so far as leader.
