...most people who voted for Bush, believe that Bush stands for American principles. So, they can't rationalize in their own minds how he could be so wrong. They're uncertain about all this criticism of the president, may even resent the Democrats for creating so much pressure against the White House. But, they'll never do the unthinkable. And that's admit that everything they believed in, was wrong.

I think these lost Americans have a bully-mentality. They really need to feel superior to everyone else, and they expect it to come without working for it. That's why, all it's going to take is some Ronald Reagan type to come along to make them feel good about themselves, because it's all about perceptions for these shallow brains.
