Gore faces new criticism:
Edited on Sat Mar-03-07 07:01 AM by rzemanfl
"Former Vice-President Al Gore came under new criticism today when it became known that he and his staff used the toilet in his hotel room despite the fact that the maid had failed to put the paper 'Sanitized for your protection' strip on the commode. Mr. Gore is known to have stayed several times at this particular hotel and was aware of their cleaning protocols, yet failed to report this condition to hotel management. This revelation comes close on the heels of criticism of Gore for allowing a homeland security official to escort him to an airplane without going through screening merely because that person was a homeland security official.

When asked for comment, White House spokeswoman Dana Perrino said: 'Mr. Gore should know that under this administration you cannot assume that anyone is doing their job.' 'After all,' she added, 'he invented the Internets and was a character in a book and movie.'"

Just in case someone hasn't had their coffee- :sarcasm:

2. I expected the RW to criticize Gore, and to even make things up if
they couldn't find anything factual, but criticism for not reporting a hotel maid is beyond even what I would have dreamed! What will be next..."he walked into my house and didn't take his shoes off?"

3. Sarcasm smilie is at bottom of screen. I did that because of a
similar bit of satire I posted a long time ago involving a fictious statement from the family the deceased actress Shirley Booth on domestic spying. A lot of people took me seriously.

11. Do you realize WHY so many believed you?
Becasue the story is BELIEVABLE! The RWers are just crazy enough to make a big deal out of ANYTHING! Yes, I saw the sarcasm, but it STILL was so believable that these nuts would say that kind of stuff, I had to comment!

5. I suspect this scandal goes even further than that
He probably flushed for no. 1 several times costing the hotel plenty in excess watter usage. And everyone knows that he stays in the shower much too long just letting that hot watter run and run right down the drain.

8. It's worse, he has a person on his staff flush while he is in the
shower, just for the rush. It is a good thing that we have sensible people like George Bush and Dick Cheney in charge of this country instead of these whackos.

14. "Gore weight gain was intentional"
It has been reported that Gore laughed at comments about his new "more robust" frame by saying, "Now I use more water when I shower, and thus prevent poor people from getting too much. I have a right to as much water as I need to shower."

official. The point of my post is the same.

and his family through this shit for the next 10 years (2 years til election-8 years of presidency?)....even the jokes hit home...because there will be enough real bullshit thrown at him worst and more tedious and petty than just the jokes.

Gore won't run ever again...He's Hollywood now... and I don't blame him!!

And the "Draft Gore" silliness will keep Gore a superstar and his name in the news...who wouldn't love that...but to go through all that shit it takes to run...fuck it! The republican money & media machine is intentionally vicious, mean & destructive...they play in the big leagues (the Dems play "T" ball) the republican machine will grind up and spit out any strong Dem candidate, until they get the weakest Dem they want to run...And who do you think that is?
