So they are lining their ducks
in a row

Listening to a local talk show host, a group went and talked to our local delegation... and even one of the pukes talked to them

Folks what he said is that the mood in DC has changed (That much I suspected), and that they are just lining ducks to avoid the inevitable pardon

He also said, thtt we need to keep up the pressure.

Yep them are code words for... we are getting agreesive, but we need to be reminded that you are behind us and.. that we are getting all lined up in a legal fashion and that folks takes time

9. The committees are lining their ducks in a row
as I like to point out often, in 1973 the first impeachment hearings were not formal impeachment hearings. When they finally moved to a formal impeachment committee, they had all legal ducks on a row and knew they could MOVE ON to impeachment and trial. The reason why Nixon stepped down, the Pubies pointed out the votes were there to both impeach and indict

5. This should be repeated often
The Dems we elected in November have got to be reminded about what we want, which is essentially accountable government in the service of the people. There are too many forces in politics that are trying to obscure that message and we need to keep the pressure on, including thanking them when they do the right thing.

For so long many of us had no one to write to. I would write to my Repub congressmen but never thought much would come of it. Now that the Dems are in power we must realize that the responsibility on us is enormous. We can't let this opportunity pass.

8. Not sure what this is referring to. But we do need to keep reminding our reps that
we have their backs and to not worry about criticism or threats from the Right (which is almost always wrong) and the r/w media.

It's easy to (and we should) complain when our reps disappoint us. But the weaker and more fearful ones have to be reassured and encouraged. And the ones who are bold enough to do the right thing, even the Boxers and Murthas and Feingolds, need reinforcement when they're doing things right. I heard, I think it was Boxer say something to this effect. They want to hear from us, even when we know they plan on voting the way we want them to.

I adress the issues of the week

But I am also a span addict...

For example last week I sent a link to Sly hersh's story and pointed out, seems we are funding the terrorists...

Ask Senator Wellstone or Senator Carnahan.

19. It does, we need to stand by them
politically

Granted we cannot check every plane for ahem, mehanical problems, but we can stand by them politically and if need be take to the streets and it is that last step that the people seem truly incapable of doing on a regular basis

I thought those crashes were suspicious, too. One of the things I know Wellstone was succeeding at at the time was media reform. Dammitalltohell.

16. If they Pardon Libby then they are saying they are part of the
Treason and Espionage

and then the American people need to rise up like they did against Ford when Nixon resigned and was pardoned

He never got elected after that and it was political suicide

even if they pardon Libby
it shows their GUILT

and politically suicide has been commited
History will judge them for what they are
Treasonous !@#$%^&*

Nope, so any pardon will have no direct effect on him, and that is all he caers

26. Oh yes indeed
Yep, they could steal it, but I think a lot of people would vote for him gladly despite everything * has doen, I hate to admit.

The military/anti-terror/industrial/political complex wants to extend this regime so they can milk every damn dollar out of the US treasury and the American taxpayer. They have no plans on giving it up.

I predict the nominee will be either J*b or some mental lightweight who will do their bidding. It won't be McC*in because he's pissed off Darth and R*mmy, kingpins of the cabal. I don't think it will be R*dy because he doesn't have enough bona fides for the Religious Right knee-jerk voters. The nominee must be either a Neocon or a malleable tool, or both.

If J*b wants to run, they will fashion him as * without the warts. And stupid Republic voters will support him 100%.

28. They'll Go for Rudy or McCain. Watch Who They Pick for VP
The wingnuts will go along, because they know what the game is.
Either Rudy/McCain goes hard right like Bush** did, or they get bumped off.
McCain appears too old and frail to survive long in office anyway, and Guiliani has health issues as well.

Then we'd end up with President Brownback or something. :scared:
