He can't really believe Bush won fair and square.

1. He has spoken many times about many of the wrong things that happened in Ohio.
He has cosponsored many bills on election reform - with but a handful of other Senators and apparently no interest from the Democratic leadership.

I hope people on DU and other places who care about this issue intensely, will let HARRY REID and their own Congresscritters know that they care about it intensely. I think if Kerry knows that the bills have a chance of going somewhere - because of support from leadership - he and those others who tried for the last two years will turn on the afterburners to get it done. But if they are going to be blocked by the leadership, why not spend that energy on something that WILL get done?

3.  I want him to say the election was stolen to a national audience unless...
he doesn't think it was.

2. He dropped out to concentrate on ending the Iraq war before it widens.

I hope he does reach into election fraud, but, hopefully we have Dean working on all of those issues.

Kerry kept Iraq withdrawal an issue all last year even when many Dems wanted to avoid it in an election year and let Bush have the rein he wanted. His choice today to concentrate on ending the war is who John Kerry is. Kerry hates this war and has spent alot of time with grieving families of troops - he made a choice that fits his moral DNA - work to end the war, whatever it takes.

5. He should have done this immediately after the 2004 election.
I guess he understands 'why' now.

6. Agreed. Bush and the Iraq war may have been history by now.
