Fight it in court? Ignore it? Counter-sue?

Seriously, is there any option for people who get sued by this monster of an industry?

1. Find a good lawyer. You might be able to win.
Several targets of RIAA lawsuits have been able to fight it out in court, and win.

Just having your IP address isn't sufficient evidence that you did it.

2. It would depend..
If I was a just starting out, without many assets, I would LOL in their faces...

If I had a normal level of assets (a house, and car} I would still LOL in their faces, appeal my losses in court (without wasting money on a lawyer)...than when I cant appeal it no more...Declare bankruptcy...and write them off, while continuing to pay the rest of my bills normally.

I would have actually kept a bankruptcy lawyer in the wings, all along..

The key would be, to make them PAY as much as possible, without ANY return.
