McCain: U.S. victory in Iraq is possible

There's only one thing worse than military action against Iran and that would be an Iran armed with nuclear weapons, U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said Friday.

At a campaign fundraiser for his likely 2008 run for the White House, McCain also said U.S. victory in Iraq is possible and comprehensive immigration reform needs to be passed by this summer.

The event, dubbed an "exchange forum" with McCain and Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr., was the first time McCain spoke in Arizona since informally announcing his candidacy for president Wednesday during an appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman."
