Why No Single Portal for Military Family Survivors?

"Military faces growing ranks of bereaved": http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070303/ap_on_re_us/families_of_the_fallen_1

"Most survivors don't know what they're entitled to, and that's a big deal," said the GAO's Derek Stewart. "There should be one place that survivors could go and, in one sitting, have an individual spell out all the services and entitlements coming your way."

When the military can establish a single propaganda portal for recruitment, (http://www.todaysmilitary.com), it's hard for the DoD brass to turn around and argue that it can't do the same for war widow(er)s and orphans.
