Coulter's Slur Against Edwards Stirs Outrage


Democratic presidential contender John Edwards hopes to make some quick campaign cash off a conservative columnist's slur.
Ann Coulter made the comment Friday while speaking to GOP activists attending the annual Conservative Political Action Conference.
"I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word 'faggot,' so I -- so kind of an impasse, can't really talk about Edwards. So I think I'll just conclude here and take your questions," Coulter said.
At first her audience seemed shocked, but then many started to clap.

1. One thing about all of this I don't understand

Why are the republics "up in arms" over her(?) comment? After all, they invited her(?) and should have known what they were getting. Also, the audience laughed after she(?) said it. I guess that shows their true colors. In actuality, I understand it all too well. The republic party are a bunch of bigoted assholes who refuse to practice what they preach.

2. She is despicable. And she no longer cares what crazy or false and

inflammatory statement she makes. I think she's just trying to get all the attention she can while she can.

Someday people, when referring to her at all, will comment on how strange it was that such a stupid witch ever got the attention of a nation. And then, they'll start to wonder about the people who paid her any attention as well.

3. Personally, if I were Edwards, when told that coulter called me a

faggot, I would have said, Ann who, oh you mean that skinny, ugly, blonde guy. Who cares!

4. Why is nobody talking about her saying "our blacks are better than their blacks?"

I watched her live on C-SPAN and she actually said that......referring to Republican blacks vs Democratic blacks. I have yet to hear anyone in the media comment on this. In my opinion this is possibly a more offensive remark. I was absolutely appalled when I heard her.

P.S...Howard Kurtz on his CNN show today "Reliable Sources" mentioned what she said about John Edwards but no mention of the racial comment.

Yes, I don't think she deserved that much attention for the "faggot" remark as one should better ignore that beast, but that comment about the blacks was really horrible.
