Many organizations, groups and individuals have called to ask where they can send a monetary donation. In response to the large number of requests, monetary donations can be made via the information given below.

Anyone who is interested in making a donation to the victims of the recent tornado that hit the City of Enterprise on March 1, 2007 can send a check to:

Or you can call the donation assistance line at 1-877-598-4584. This number will be available from Monday - Saturday from 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM eastern time. The line will go live beginning at 5:00PM central time on March 2, 2007. The line will be open after hours and will provide callers with information.

• Anyone who wants to assist the victims of Thursday’s tornadoes can call the Governor’s Volunteer and Donations Information Line at 1-877-273-5018 or visit www.ServeAlabama.gov .

• Financial contributions made to the Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund through www.ServeAlabama.gov or by calling 1-877-273-5018 will go to assist Alabama victims affected by the disaster whose losses are not covered by insurance or Federal Emergency Management Agency claims resulting from a disaster or emergency.
