The problem with the US Constitution.........
is that it depends on those in authority actually following and believing in it. It "doesn't" work when you have those who circumvent and/or just ignore it. That problem is compounded by others in authority who have the power to stop the the criminals, but who wont either because of fear, personal or financial reasons. Every single day we hear about more ways that this criminal administration is breaking laws, our Constitution and bill of rights, and seemingly, nothing gets done to change it.

And on top of 'this' frustration, every time I come to DU, I expect the worst. I expect to see "B*sh administration declares war on Iran." And don't even think it cant happen, it can.

Is there ANYTHING going on in Washington right now that will put these criminals behind bars and/or get them out of power? I see posturing and hot air, but I see very little (nothing) that gives me any hope of justice.
Ok, Ive run out of steam, so RANT OFF.

1. So what are you doing to put these criminals behind bars?
What are YOU doing to change things?

2. Agreed. 'WE' must keep 'hammering' our legislators with phone calls, letters.....
and petitions; unrelenting pressure for change is our greatest weapon.

3. You're right
I don't have any power to force a politician to obey the Constitution. Of course, I can vote against him at the next election, but then, if he loses, he'll have a great retirement.
