Anybody From DU Planning On Going To YearlyKos This Year ???
<snip>

Convention Details
Posted on November 28, 2006 by YearlyKos

The YearlyKos Convention is August 2-5, 2007 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois. We've reserved a block of rooms at the connecting Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, at the discounted rate of $149 per night. Not bad!

Wondering about YearlyKos Convention specifics? We've got information on how to wend your way to the Windy City (and how to get around when you're there). Looking for things to do? There is more fun to be had in Chicago than there are lies in one hour of "The O'Reilly Factor!" But check out the Convention Schedule first to make sure you don't miss any of the great panels or amazing speakers.

They are just setting up fundraisers and getting together their schedule of speakers, but it's good to start squirreling money away now if ya plan to go. I'm gonna try, will see which way the pennies roll this year.

:shrug:

6. Earl G came to our meetup in DC
It was neat to meet him.

We should keep posting threads about Yearly Kos in the activism forum. Or we could go to the Illinois forum, since it is in Chicago.

10. Any ancient/senior/aged/old people going?
Was pleasantly surprised at the Media Reform conventions, there were plenty of oldsters there, but at a Kos convention, would be afraid to be the only oldster there!
