I swear, Bush has used this fantasy to shape his entire presidency. The writers must have been psychic. Neither the President nor VP will negotiate with our enemies. They have to do the right thing and attack terrorists even though everyone around them tells them to do something else. The press gets people killed by handing out information that should be kept secret. There is a scene in which a bratty First daughter mugs for the cameras. The president saves the day by piloting AIr Force 1 although he only flew smaller planes. The president even uses a children's book as a basis for his philosophy (If you give a mouse a cookie) Shades of The Pet Goat!

Since the movie came out in 1997, probably not.

One more thing the Chimperor has ruined for us: over the top political thrillers. How can you watch them now knowing the President doesn't realize they're fantasy!
