1. Larry Johnson, former CIA agent

and colleague of Valerie Plame, does not think much of Mr. Lance and his information. Neither did National Geographic Channel, which stripped Mr. Lance's "reporting" out of the special shown a few months back on that channel.

About a year and a half ago when he blogged that there were about 27 (or something like that) people that were going to be indicted in the Plame case. This was the week of or the week before Fitz announced Libby's indictment.

As I remember (and I could be wrong) Larry Johnson mysteriously started appearing on news shows commenting on Plame ect... I think somewhere around the fall of 2003. I had never heard of him before that. I thought he was the real deal then. However, I don't think so anymore.

Why the skepticism here, of all places? Why are three posters here are so quick to denounced him! :wtf:

IF Larry Johnson doesn't have good things to say about Peter Lance, give me links, please, Julie. I tend to believe Larry J. but just haven't read any criticism about Lance from him. I'm not saying there isn't, but that I'd just like to see the details as to why Larry J. denounces Peter Lance. And as far as NGC is concerned, they could have had political pressure.

Sorry, I tend not to believe the naysayers w/o first being shown evidence.

For one thing, I know Lance is dead-on regarding the physical description of the wreckage of flight 800.

12. In the 9-11 CTer community there are a lot of people who

criticize other people's work. There are also disinfo artists out there muddying the waters. I read Peter Lance's first 9-11 book. I haven't read his new one. I have also read just about everyone else on the subject. Rupert, Tarpley, Griffin, ect...

They all add their own personal twists to the CT. Who is to say who is absolutely correct, but I think they all add to the discussion.

I'm not doing your research for you.

Mr. Lance could not source the information in his "report" to the satisfaction of National Geographic Channel. He's also poorly regarded by Mr. Johnson, who seems to enjoy acceptance and respect on FDL. I'd trust FDL before I'd trust Mr. Lance, who seems very impressed with the idea that his book is #4 on Amazon.com. How many times have Ann Coulter's books been #1 on that list, and is there ANYTHING truthful in any of them?
