rea; defense which is national health care and we would still be spending more on defense than the next ten largest countries combined. Since Bush* has taken power we raised our spending on "Defense" really offense but the name stays the same to almosty double what was sufficient before the neo cons came to power. If we really want to defend our nation against all enemies then we must put forth a National Health Care program because virus' are enemies of man as well. As are just plain broken bones and common colds...Government's sole purpose of being is to maintain the Health and Welfare of the nation. This is not being done and it desperately needs to start... We need real Defense and not just Offense..

said if we took just the cost of one B2 bomber, it would pay for the entire nation's health care for a whole year. I support Kucinich's plan to expand Medicare to cover all citizens and be done with it. The American people may not be stupid, but we sure come off that way...

We must have FEMA funded. We need to make health and disaster care of all kinds independent of politics. We have enough proof that the right wing (and libertarians?) don't care.
