Maybe the thought of him being put on trial for war crimes is a pipe dream, but I think him, cheney and condi are all becoming aware that they're will be consequnces to their actions. Maybe it will be legal consequnces or maybe as one writer said they won't be welcomed back into polite society ever again, but there is no way Bush is going to have this lavish retirement that people seem to think he will. Give Speeches? Forget it. Best selling book? Nope. He's probably the most hated man in America.

Its not just him. When I look at Condi nowadays I think: that is a woman who knows she's screwed.

1. he's got two choices: 1. nuke Iran and await the revolution that ensues 2. wait to get nailed by
the dems who take over and ultimately find him guilty of war crimes.

I bet Uraguay (or Paraguay, or wherever is looking pretty good right now)

and it isn't because the land is cheap.

Mcclellan has said a few times that the 4000 dead americans does weigh heavily on him. I know a lot of people think Bush is a sociopath, but I don't think he is. I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life with that on my conscience.

is traveling so much, to go see things and visit places that will land him in jail after he leaves office. It might also account for his drinking, I am referring to the pictures of him arriving in Slovenia (I think that was where it was) that someone posted yesterday.

3. I will stick that dream in my pipe. Your alternative is to admit we are no longer a country of LAWS.

If some are not subject to the laws of the land why should I choose to be so bound?

8. I think
you're right.

Ever notice how the Repub party seems absolutely frozen, immobilized?

They've got that Deer in the Headlights look about them, as they realize It's Over. It's over for them.

There is so much stuff coming out on this administration, it's like a snowball rolling downhill.

10. Come Christmas, the pardons will ring out
I'm not buying any of this, Bush will wholesale pardon the entire Executive Branch. And nobody can stop him. He doesn't give a crap about the Republican party, either.

11. My fondest fantasy is that the word bush will become such a dirty word
that just saying the word aloud will cause people to demand that the speaker watch his language in front of the children.

13. I think Bush is definitely going to walk away from this.
Who is going to hold him responsible...Congress??

He has gotten away with this shit for 7+ years. Why would you think that anyone is going to do anything to him or the other criminals?

He is going to leave this shit storm he has created for someone else to clean up and walk away. He may be the most hated man in the world, but it doesn't matter.
