I'll speculate that even media like Olbermann, Abrams, Stewart & Colbet won't cover it because they're afraid of being ripped for spitting on the troops, hating America, etc.

2. People here blindly defend the criminals in uniform as well. Whether it is out of

fear of the anti-troop label or political expediency (plenty of that around on all issues) or actual support for criminal actions by "our" military is irrelevant.

There are too many sacred cows untouchable by criticism. Interestingly, most of them happen to mirror right-wing talking points.

If I had titled this "Cute Cat Stuck In Tree"!!! this would have hundreds of views and recs. But that's often how the world works, even within the progressive community.
