Ann Coulter's offensive comment about blacks not being mentioned by anyone.

I find it rather odd that Ann Coulter is being, rightfully, castigated for her remarks about Edwards being a faggot. What puzzles me is why there has been no mention of her saying "our blacks are better than their blacks?"
I watched her rant live on C-SPAN and along with the faggot remark, she actually said that......referring to Republican blacks (e.g. Colin Powell) vs Democratic blacks. I have yet to hear anyone in the media comment on this. In my opinion this is possibly a more offensive remark. I was absolutely appalled when I heard her. She spoke as if African American people were comodities to be compared.

I suspect because she didn't out-and-out use a slur like "faggot" - which is immediately going to grab attention. But the "our blacks are better than your blacks" comment pissed me off to no end, as if to indicate ownership. How people like Michael Steele could sit there at that conference and listen to that bull without walking out and saying "Kiss my you-know-what" is beyond me.

17. By the way Coulter was up here in Canada not long ago arguing in a TV interview

with one of CBC's journalists that Canada should be ashamed of not joining the Iraq war. She said Canada was with the U.S.A in Viet Nam but deserted them for Iraq (not a direct quote.) Our journalist pointed out that she had it wrong.... Canada STAYED OUT of the Viet Nam war, and unbelievably, the arrogant Coulter actually argued that he was wrong and she was right!
