When do the media start digging and reporting about Guiliani's 9/11 profiteering?
and his Kerik problems because you know the Kerik thing goes a lot deeper than the media has reported, are they keeping the powder dry for awhile or are they sitting this one out?

1. Yep, this is far more pertinent than his fallout
with his kids. Kerik is as dirty as they come and he and Ghouliani were joined at the hip. Remember who put Kerik forward to be head of Homeland Security?

3. Well, he just sold his investment bank:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17469454/

Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York, on Monday provided further evidence that he is stepping up his presidential campaign for 2008 when he sold his boutique investment bank, Giuliani Capital Partners, addressing concerns about potential conflicts of interest and adding to his warchest of campaign financing.

The terms of the sale to Macquarie Group, an Australian financial group, were not disclosed but analysts said that Giuliani Capital Advisors could be worth as much as $100m. It represents a large chunk of Mr Giuliani's business interests, which he began building in early 2002, shortly after leaving his post as mayor.

10. Agreed--gotta attack him where he's the strongest now...
discredit his strength, and then let all of his personal dirt hit the fan later, if he makes it to the general, where it will retain its shock value.

14. trying to find 2 videos, one with NY'ers booing Rudy at the 9-11
Commission hearings held here in NY, over his refusal to fund decent radios for firemen and cops, and the other of firemen marching on city hall when Rudy wanted to stop the search for remains (after missing money beneath the WTC was discovered) Anyone know where I can find them? Thanks!

15. It's so downright appalling on the face of it...
That I can't help but wonder why no one in the MSM has called him on his profiteering--that's exactly what he's been about these last 6 years--the best of his life!

19. see #13. We're SO screwed. The M$M will treat St. Rudy even MORE
gently than they did Bush in 2000 or 2004.

They will allow NO stories to stay on the scene that speak ill of the canonized one.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'll bet I'm not.

Why should things be any different for any Rethug frontrunner, especially one with the mantle of 911 HERO placed upon his shoulders.

Remember who Time's Person of the year in 2001 was, just for starters?

20. Yes, that Time's Man O' Year was nauseating, and his glory
should have ended there. But nooooo. Hopefully the ever-more-desperate-to-be-POTUS John McCain will kneecap him handily, crippling him even if he still gets the nom. I am beginning to fear that McCain will drop out, though, before he serves his useful purpose. That will leave only Willard Romney, who will go easy on Ghouliani just to be VP--he is nothing if not a flexible, adaptive (self-serving) sort!

13. I certainly hope you aren't holding your breath
I don't think you will see this.
Rudy is the scab over the 911 wound. If you pull it off, there is a good chance the country will hemorrhage.
Not that it will be a bad thing, but the media won't pick at it. It would be like unmasking the Lone Ranger.

http://hubpages.com/hub/Just_say_NO_to_Giuliani

To become a Federal prosecutor in N.Y. and later as Ronald Reagan s 3rd highest-ranking U.S. Justice Department official, Rudy Giuliani lied during his F.B.I. background checks when asked if any relative or associate was a convicted felon or had organized crime connections. Those lies were federal crimes.

As revealed in 'Rudy! An Investigative Biography' by Wayne Barrett, Giuliani's father was a convicted hold-up man who served time in an upstate prison and was later employed as an enforcer for a Mafia loan shark operation. When the book was first released Giuliani denied and later admitted it was true.

According to the book, a number of his other relatives were also in the Mafia besides the uncles who were firemen and police officers that he proudly refers to in public speeches. The point is not that Giuliani is a bad guy because his father was a mobster, but that he lied to the F.B.I. and to Congress about it.

22. There was a story by Ellis Henican in Newsday that discussed
Rudy's Tower Fund, his then gal pal, and how they were making bucks off it.

Unfortunately, I can't find it any longer on the net....
