laughing at Cheney's whine that America doesn't have stomach
for his little indiscreet war in Iraq.

Seems that Mr Cheney didn't have the stomach for Vietnam but lucky for him Mrs Cheney had the stomach (engorged with child) to keep the stomachless bigmouth one out of Vietnam

1. 5 deferments and "I had other priorities."
Dick better worry about what Fitz has in store for him.

Hell, why call him Mr. Vice President? He never won either race.

"DELAND, Fla., Nov. 11 - Something very strange happened on election night to Deborah Tannenbaum, a Democratic Party official in Volusia County. At 10 p.m., she called the county elections department and learned that Al Gore was leading George W. Bush 83,000 votes to 62,000. But when she checked the county's Web site for an update half an hour later, she found a startling development: Gore's count had dropped by 16,000 votes, while an obscure Socialist candidate had picked up 10,000--all because of a single precinct with only 600 voters."

Two Ohio Election Workers Found Guilty Of Rigging Vote Recount

Edited on Wed Jan-24-07 06:17 PM by orleans
"CLEVELAND Two election workers in Ohio have been convicted of rigging the recount of the 2004 presidential tally in one county.

"Elections coordinator Jacqueline Maiden and ballot manager Kathleen Dreamer of Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH'-guh) County were each found guilty of negligent misconduct of an elections employee. That's a felony that could mean up to 18 months in prison.

"The two were also convicted of a misdemeanor count of failure of elections employees to perform their duty. Each was acquitted of five other charges.

"Maiden and Dreamer were accused of secretly reviewing pre-selected ballots before the recount in Cuyahoga County to avoid a more costly, time-consuming hand count of all votes.

"Cuyahoga is Ohio's most populous county. It was Ohio that gave President Bush the electoral votes he needed to defeat Senator John Kerry."

2. Well, when the country is fighting with its back against the wall,
most citizens will continue to support the fight.

In Dick's* case, we are fighting for Halliburton and the country's rich folk. I guess that's why we just don't see the merit. No doubt, Dick believes that we are stupid. So stupid that he lies without hesitation.

The other deal is that most people are understanding that we can't force out will on other cultures. Dick probably got a deferment from his freshman social science class. Margaret Mead could have told Dick* that he was full of shit right from the start.
