Instead of spending millions on yet another "commission" to "study" the way to do this, why not just rehab all injured soldiers with the same intensity and care that Bob Woodruff got.
and when he/she is ready to leave the hospital, send them home with a PAID FOR health aide (if they need one), enroll them in the best (that's close to them) rehab centers, get them a PAID FOR vehicle (if they need one), PAY IN FULL for post-injury occupational training/college, and pay them (until they can find their own jobs) what they would have made at a job they were qualified to do (prior to the injury).
And LIFETIME medical for them and their families. (their "work-life" may be limited in time, and their families need medical care)
OR
Why not just have a REAL National Health Care system and everyone would have access to the care they needed..war or no war..
You say that will cost too much? Well then why not factor THAT into any war plans.
