Props to Foxnews for poignant Russert coverage
I've been watching since 4 pm, and from the outset they've shown great reverence on today's sad story, from the likes of Cavuto, Gibson, Wallace and even now Hannity has called Russert a great man in journalism.

Its fantastic to see partisan and competitive feelings set aside on all channels, especially the maligned Foxnews folks.

1. Fuck Fox
They can never redeem themselves. I wouldn't watch if it was the only channel on TV.

5. Yep
There is not one thing they can do at this point.

Pathetic that this network was even mentioned at all.

2. Fox is where the shitty journalists go to end their careers.
Which is why we have the de-programmed from our line up. They aren't worthy of even mentioning Russert, he was far too classy for their ilk.

10. "Maligned" kind of jumped out of me, as well.
Maligned carries the connotation of being an unjust accusation. In the case of FoxNoise, that's as if someone who fucked his mother got offended upon being labeled a mother-fucker.

8. Piss on Ailes, Murdoch and all the other lesser assholes at Faux.

I didn't watch, and I wouldn't watch, but I would suspect they're pandering.

Reason: I doubt if you could find a thimble full of sincerity in the whole Faux main office.

9. This video might have something to do with Fox's "reverence"
Edited on Fri Jun-13-08 09:19 PM by rocknation
It seems like only a couple of weeks ago when O'Reilly was accusing Russert and NBC of being "in the tank" with the "loony left"...but that might be because it actually WAS only a couple of weeks ago. My, what short memories we have!

14. There was no competition between Russert and anybody at Fox. They have different professions.
Edited on Fri Jun-13-08 09:51 PM by MidwestTransplant
Not to say that Russert was perfect by any stretch.
