Their pastor Fred Phelps belongs in the looney bin. He is something that the left and right agreed on, scary that it is one of the few things, but he is hated by almost everybody.

6. Apparently there may be a few who don't know about Phelps

but most on DU know all too well. So, I have to ask why we keep linking to his hate-filled YouTube videos? We've seen countless vids of his hate against Gays, against dead soldiers who served in Iraq, against those who died in horrible natural weather-related tragedies--all because it feeds his hate agenda. So now that he is targeting Tim Russert (who, as it turns out was a devout Catholic) we AGAIN have to link to his horrendous hate.

I ask WHY? Why do we need to feed his need for attention????
