ATLANTIC CITY -Their motto is "one state, one voice, one labor movement" and democrats are hoping the million–plus union workers of the AFL-CIO will vote as one this fall, for them.

"Come join us we're all together in the same boat, whether we chose to or not and we've got to fight this fight to win in November on all levels," says U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ).

Once an outspoken Clinton supporter, Governor Corzine is putting the party first.

"We need to elect Barrack Obama as the President of the United States," said Corzine at the AFL-CIO 27th Constitutional Convention Wednesday.

But on the national level, the top legislative issue for the AFL-CIO is making it easier for workers to organize by passing the Employee Free Choice Act.

In New Jersey, lawmakers are considering classifying casino employees as essential personnel, thereby foregoing a shut down like 2 years ago if the budget does not pass.

Something Corzine says he does not fully support.
