6. Well, the ones that wanted
a DINO got a DINO. At least the DINO was challenged and lost his party's nomination and could not run as a democrat. It signaled an end to capitulation.

2. Suppose?
There is no possibility of our "victory" in Iraq, and as is about to be demonstrated with the upcoming vote on more war appropriations, the one effective path to forcing our withdrawal is 'off the table' with our pathetic Democratic Party leaders. It is a simple fact: the war, that is the ongoing occupation of conquered territories in the middle east, will be in approximately the same state it is in today or worse.

There is *NO DOUBT* in my mind that as of 2002, we should have
started replacing *EVERY* Democrat who, in their cowardice and
wish to keep their jobs, was complicit with Bush.

And after the Lamont experience, I don't give a damn if it means
leaving (alleged) Democrats behind. It couldn't have been made
more clear to us than it was in 2006 in CT that the Corporate
Wing of the Democratic Party doesn't give a damn what we think,
and they'd sooner vote for a non-Democrat Right Winger than
allow us to have any say in the political process.

So Lamont(s), if possible, but otherwise, candidates we can
believe in who actually stand for something, whether or not
they have a "D" before their names.

In *EVERY* election, unseat corporatist warmongers.

7. General strike
Is all that we have left.
But it would take courage that i am not sure many have...to quint your job or be fired from it and move to a camp site on the White house lawn with the intent of staying until the police arrive with tanks and tear gas to take you out. or your demands are met (not likely as long as they know the numbers of strikers are small.)
But if the numbers were large enough to shut down Washington and the support was there it just could change things. But it would have to be very large, so large that only a huge massacre would stop it to work.
