2. I'm sure that this whole matter was completely based on
protection and safety of the citizens of Alabama. Former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman was seen holding money.....Let us put him in prison ASAP. Blah Blah Blah........

6. I don't understand this point:
"Martin also said she believes that the fact Siegelman got jail time for the crime has everything to do with the Congressional Investigation."

Is she saying that Congress investigated him prior to his conviction, therefore he would not have gone to jail had the Congress not investigated?

7. She may be trying to displace the focus off herself. She is saying there was
a crime in "for the crime."

It is a clever way of saying she is innocent, asserting a crime but not saying so directly.

Creating a diversion out of a non-issue is sooo old hat!

The Congressional investigation is into the politicization of the DoJ, and she is
the nation's number #1 most wanted offender for railroading a Democratic governor
and covering up a stolen election and illegal campaign financing with the process!

9. Justice Department investigating two US Attorneys for political prosecution
Justice Department investigating two US Attorneys for political prosecution
Larisa Alexandrovna - June 5, 2008 - http://rawstory.com/news/2008/DOJ_Investigating_two_US_Attorneys_involved_0604.html

Mississippi US Attorney said to share tax returns of one of his targets with “unauthorized personnel”

The US Justice Department’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) is investigating the conduct of at least two specific US Attorneys in the “selective prosecution” of former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman, sitting Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Oliver E. Diaz Jr., and Mississippi attorney Paul Minor, according to attorneys close to the investigation.

In a May 5 letter sent to House Judiciary Committee chairman John Conyers (D-MI), OPR Director H. Marshall Jarrett wrote that OPR “currently has pending investigations involving, among others, allegations of selective prosecution relating to the prosecutions of Don Siegelman, Georgia Thompson, Oliver Diaz and Paul Minor.”

RAW STORY has confirmed that Leura Canary (above right), the US Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama, and Dunnica Lampton, the US Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi , are under investigation. Their offices are also being probed.

Canary’s office prosecuted Siegelman; Lampton’s office prosecuted Diaz and Minor. .............

10. Geez, I hope whatever they got for being good little soldiers was worth it.
Somehow, I don't believe it was. * turns like a rabid dog on anyone who doesn't live up to his expectations. Several who did still ended up under the bus and got run over repeatedly.

Such vile people - psychopaths and true believers, both.
