Back on 2/17, the Senate narrowly rejected (for the second time) an effort to force debate on a resolution opposing Shrub's troop buildup in Iraq. With a handful of Rethugs joining every DEM that voted, the motion to "debate" was 56 yea to 34 nea. Four votes short of the 60 we needed to move forward.
With the recent discoveries of gross ineptitude at Walter Reed, with the tragic headlines of destruction and death in the Iraq Civil war marching on unabated, and with DEM leadership on the Hill slowly but *hopefully* growing more muscle, another vote soon seems likely. How much more blatant disregard of sensibility from the BushCo regime needs to be exposed to sway a few more Rethugs?
Four more frikken votes!!! What the f'ck is it going to take to move the critical mass on this issue over a few more inches so the American people can have the debate our votes last November mandated MUST happen?
Just wondering.
