Minority leader McConnell just said it's 'dangerous' to give airport screeners union protections

and that Democrats were holding up national security by insisting that these workers' rights are protected and defended by a union. Apparently the republicans believe that airport screeners are second-class citizens who don't deserve to be represented by a union, even as they use our public institution to grant themselves whatever protections and benefits they desire, at their will and whim.
