Libby will file a motion for a new trial

and if that's denied, will appeal the conviction.

That's what Libby's attorney says.

Dan Abrams said it is almost certain that the judge won't grant a new trial.

4. Abrams says that it's Walton who would have to grant one,
and I agree -- I can't imagine Walton doing that.

3. Talking head attorney on CNN made a good point - 1 not guilty makes for
a difficult motion to retry or an appeal. Shows some thoroughness on the part of the jury.

9. They'll drag it out until official presidential pardon time
After the appeals he might spend a couple of months at Club Fed. Of course if the appeals are dismissed it's a whole new ball game.
