"Are you willing to go to prison to protect VP Cheney?"

6. LoL he was whisked away by his attorney.
He didn't answer, but I love that an incredulous reporter asked the question.

One has to wonder if they will attempt to save them or bulldoze them?

12. Sentencing June 5? Plenty of time to flee
if he doesn't want to hang on until the pardon.

Folks, I am as happy about the verdict as the next guy, but junta history has taught me not to celebrate without waiting for the other shoe to fall. Hate to throw cold water about, but Cheney is not gonna take any chances with Cheney's ass.

Scooter would do well to avoid hunting trips.

18. Or he finds a look-alike, slips him a mickey and flees to a warmer climate.
Still, gotta fear the Cheney goons. And Cheney will have to fear the Bush goons, when his time comes {{{{{soon}}}}}.
Perhaps the new american century will be known as The Time of The Goon Wars.

22. Fitz also said:
"If they wish to pursue any options, they can contact us — and we aren't going to comment on that, just as we don't comment on any other case."

(via FDL; paraphrased)

23. Because, it's dependant on what he gets from Libby. They are going to be
negotiating for a good sentence, so Libby still has a chance to see the light and give up the next step on the ladder. Once they get past the sentencing, then who knows what's going on.
