5. Hi Radio Lady
:hi: :hi: :hi:

I have a suggestion:

Maybe you could expand as well on what Welfare Reform has done to put women down in the post I have below. Also check out my Journal, I have written pages and pages about the damage that this horrible law has done to make sure women, especially poor women face eternal poverty ~ but it also affects upper income women as well because it says that women's traditional work is "doing nothing".

I volunteer for an organization trying to raise conscience about the plight of low income women (and men) and they could also use some love: http://www.wroc.org. You might consider interviewing the director of this wonderful group, her name is Jean Colman.

...after Welfare DEformed, which says that traditional women's work is "doing nothing" and that even a minimum wage job is "better" than taking care of family and weaving community, Yes, it is nice to get some recognition now from someone.

Now lets repeal Welfare DEformed because contrary to what many people think, that amendment was not just aimed at poor women, American laws are not supposed to do that. This disgusting amendment is saying in essence that women's traditional work is "doing nothing" and applies to all women. It is pathetic to think any American would think that laws would only apply to a certain class, but unfortunately, this is what has happened and it is despicable ~ and it is every man who loves women (including their mothers) and it is every woman's fault who stayed silent while this horrible and sexist law was being enacted IMO.

My 2 cents

10.  “Piece a’ My Heart,” by Janis Joplin...I have that song on CD in my car...play it all the time!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Janis Joplin's voice and music. Bonnie Raitt is also one of my all-time favorite singers. I just LOVE the Blues. We use to go to Chicago every weekend just to go to the Blues clubs. That was before my son was born though. Those were fun days. There's no atmosphere quite like that of a true Blues Bar. *sigh* I miss it.
