"Joe Wilson, administration critic", as the talking heads refer to him...but
I don't seem to recall him being especially critical of Bushco until they refused to accept his findings in Africa, started a smear campaign against him and Valerie and exposed her identity...am I right on this?

1. Yeah...
they beat the crap out of him politically and professionally, exposed his wife to danger, probably got her employees tortured and killed, forced her to retire early, opened up a huge can of worms, invaded a country which was of no acute threat to us, lost the lives of thousands of Americans, hundred of thosuands of Iraqis, laid waste to two countries, lost the limbs and eyes of tens of thousands, posoned a military for another two generations, caused the end of the Reagan Revolution...

...and he's a 'critic'.

2. He didn't criticize the administration
He told the truth. They lied and he exposed it. No criticism whatsoever.

4. But in republican parlance
if you tell the truth about their crimes you are a critic and must be dealt with harshly. Then when a jury finds you guilty, you target them.

5. Must be tough to be a republican - spouting on about personal
responsibility when you take none yourself. I can't quite recall which ring in hell is reserved for hypocrites.

It also makes you wonder how many investigations, trials, and convictions it would take before they finally admitted they committed treason. Hell, how many it would take before the "true believers" quit believing despite their willingness to stay ignorant of the facts.
