Let me run one by you:
Energy and food prices are up in a breathtaking fashion.

Who is affected most severely by this? Poor and middle class. Who would be be most likely to throw some of those small contributions at Dems?

The poor and the middle class.

Considering the complete lack of response from this administration, a question:

Is this a policy of attrition that we see at work here? "Stomp a mudhole in their asses and walk them dry"?

Discuss. Feel free to tear this apart.

1. It's the Summer of Love for the petroleum industry
Their last hurrah, and they're getting it while an oil POTUS is in the White House (food prices are incidental).

So no, IMO this is not a political ploy. Why wouldn't the disenfranchised be more likely to vote for Obama?

2. I've yet to see the Republicans pull off ANYTHING
without completely bungling it. They clearly don't have the brain power to pull off something like that on purpose.

3. I've never seen so many ungrateful people...didn't you get your 600 dollar
'gonna fix the conomy' check? :sarcasm: Or did you supersize to $1,200? Go spend it on something, it is survival of the fittest - republican style. :(

6. My thoughts Exactly!
After all the wealth is concentrated in the hands of just a very few... Do they win then and can we play a different game or do we just go off into the woods and wait for the end?
