we were any longer, that our democracy is dead. Are they just going to come right out and say it or what? Are they going to wait until the last minute or are they going to be filling us in on our new government before the elections in November?

2. The FISA thing and the military commissions act of 2006 were tests
They were trying to see how much we would do if they announced that we have no power.

As long as they slowly boil us, I don't expect there will be much outcry when elections are "suspended due to emergency" and never come back.

5. :p
The great irony is that Dick may wear a crown in public, but he will NEVER be Emperor.

The Shadow Gov't make him look like Ghandi.

Your point is well taken, however. Dick has been allowed to play in politics for FAR too long.

4. HA!
What's to tell? If people are too friggin' stupid to know what's going on, then what's to tell them? If they haven't witnessed what's been done - or, worse, if they have and they haven't taken action or, at a minimum, outrage at it - then they're no better than a bunch of cows watching a passing train, chewing their cuds, sublimely content in their uninvolved stupidity.

What pisses me off most, though, is that their votes count the same as mine.
