Man Peddles 'Holy' Bottled Water
LINDEN, Calif. -- A Stockton, Calif.-area businessman is peddling blessed bottled water.

The half-liter bottles of Holy Drinking Water are being distributed by Wayne Enterprises. They only carry the blessings of Catholic and Anglican priests, but company President Brian Germann plans to expand to other faiths.

He said he thought of the concept last year and has sold about 3,000 bottles since January at a Linden market and on the Internet.

He claimed the idea came to him on June 6, 2006, believed by some to be an ill-fated day because of the three sixes in 6/6/06, a Christian symbol of evil.

The bottles of plain purified water carry a label that warns sinners who drink the water that they may experience burning, intense heat, sweating and skin irritations.

7. Isn't everyone considered a "sinner" in that religion?
Not a good marketing tool if you can expect burning and skin irritation.

9. He needs to get off his ass and get blessings from Protestant faiths
Check out the economics of this little racket:

We have a vending machine in the breakroom that sells Dasani water, which is "purified," for $1 per 500ml bottle. Total production cost of that water? Less than 20 cents when you count bottles, the utility bill, replacing the water filters every so often...

This gentleman could EASILY sell his blessed water to Christian bookstores for 50 cents per bottle, who would turn around and apply a 50-percent IMU to it to arrive at a 75-cent price tag. Everyone wins: Brian Germann makes 30 cents per bottle, the Christian bookstore makes 25, the believers get the water cheaper than that Evil Secular Water they'd been forced to drink previously...as a money-making scheme, this is one of the better ones I've seen. It's harmless and people will like it.

10. There is a snake oil salesman named Don Stewart on BET every Sunday night
between 11 and 1 selling holy bottled water and green prayer cloth handkerchiefs. Link on this shiester here. http://www.trinityfi.org/press/donstewart.html It's strange, funny and sad to watch the show all at the same time. They have an all white film crew of rough looking conmen running around all black churches and everyones screaming how they got rich after they got the cloth or bottled water. What a charade! BET should be ashamed for letting this obvious conmen have airtime. He makes Miss Cleo look legit thats how obvious he is.
