The Jury hit a nerve today.
Edited on Tue Mar-06-07 06:50 PM by kohodog
Rogers was shrill (on Mathews) and Scarborough was also apoplectic. I really think that the MSM has turned politics into a team sport, and today they are blaming the refs.
Either that or they realize their time is up. It seems they have little concern for justice or truth. It is a big game for these slimeballs. They can't see the dead and wounded or they don't care about them. They can't see dead Iraqi's. They only see their own point of view which is horribly skewed. What are they afraid of here? They are lucky Bush, Cheney and Rove aren't handcuffed yet. They should be popping corks knowing that Scooter took the fall and will be pardoned absent impeachment.

(edited to fix major error (Shrum/ Rogers).

1. Why in the world would Bob Schrum defend Cheney or Libby? are you sure about that?
Edited on Tue Mar-06-07 06:32 PM by emulatorloo
Scarbourough, yes.

Matthews has been coming down hard on Libby and Cheney all day.

And say what you will about Schrum's abilities re Dem Campaigns, but he does not strike me as the type to defend Cheney or Libby.

6. Yes, it WAS Rogers.
Just watched it. Rogers started ranting from the moment Matthews opened the discussion. Kept yammering over Schrum.
Snicker snicker.
Shrummy pointed out that Rogers was filibustering because he had nothing to say.
I enjoyed it thoroughly.

13. I had trouble
thinking of Rogers' name. Maybe that's a good thing!

The show was hilarious. The "anger level" of the republicans is rising!

2. Yep.
If these guys are behaving this way in public, I'm thinking the folks at the OVP/OSP/WHIG are likely being even worse in private. Of course, that's what got them in trouble to begin with.

7. What is going to happen when it sinks into Scooter's brain that he is a CONVICTED FELON?
It seemed like it was all abstract and impossible before.

10. North
wasn't an attorney, which makes a difference. Also, Ollie wasn't big on taking the blame for those above him.

11. Yeah, why believe the jury?
After all, they were in attendance the whole time, heard all the evidence and considered all the testimony, and none of them had a personal relationship with Scooter, so why should anyone credit what they have to say?
