Poor Judge George Greer.

If you remember, Judge Greer was the judge in the Terry Schiavo case. He was pilloried by every right-wing wacko in the country for years. He was demonstrated against, denounced in Congress by Tom Delay and Bill Frist, et al. He was attacked by Rick Sanitarium, and other assorted fundie nutjobs. Thrown out of his church. But, in the end, he did the right thing.

We hadn't heard much about him since then. But, he was mentioned on the local news last night. It seems that he got his reward, or punishment, however you look at it.

How?

He gets to preside over the Hulk Hogan (Terry-Linda Bollea) divorce case, that's already degenerated into a 6 ring media circus. The Schiavo case had to be a piece of cake compared to this.

But, I guess that maybe he's seen just about everything. He was Jim Morrison's house-mate at the University of Florida.

Good luck Judge Greer. You'll need the wisdom and patience of Solomon for this one.

2. ol' Hulk got him a good year going...

the local 'news' crews are all chomping at the bit to cover these proceedings...Mrs. Hulk has him in about 4 cases, has asked for restraining orders, and wants to put about $4 million of his cash in a condo in Vegas...

it has gotten so bad that Hulk didn't even wear his do-rag into court yesterday...a sure sign that things are serious....
