and haven't had any problems online. I was unable to get cspan2 on the tv though, not the upper or lower channels. It's still like that and cspan1 and cspan3 are fine as are all other channels.

And you are right, DU admin should be made aware of the problem. When DUers are jonesing for a DU fix, not being able to log on is not a pretty picture.
