...protect other lawbreaking companies such as: Halliburton and Blackwater?
Anyone know?
(ON EDIT)
Can the GOP twist the FISA immunity clause to protect other lawbreaking companies such as: Halliburton and Blackwater?

1. I think Executive orders already cover that. |
|
not like they'll be challenged by this congress.

2. Yes - the executive branch can spy on anyone with immunity |
|
If Haliburton or Blackwater wants wiretapping on people they convince the Exec branch of, they can have any info they want.
Time to stick a fork in this one...

8. Well if one of those companies benefitted from information, whether competively or other |
|
And if it was shared, yeah...
And it's probably a good bet considering...

3. Don't know. Don't think so |
|
But then again, their bread and butter is no bid contracts, and soaking the military. Sad, isn't it?

5. Not from a legal standpoint, no |
|
Although the perceived precedent set may make the argument to grant such companies immunity easier to make.

7. The FISA bill can be used by President Obama to spy on bush |
|
gather evidence against him and put him on trial for war crimes or treason.
It could be used to get the goods on lawbreaking by Halliburton and Blackwater.
Or it could be used by president McCain to spy on you.
