Thanks so much for the toons but please reconsider using anything by that right-wing hack Varvel. His work ranges from the incomprehensible to knee-jerk conservatism. He is so incompetent that it is sometimes difficult to get what he really means.

My take on the Varvel at the top of your post is that doesn't see the problem as Libby, his actions or his guilt but the "Libby Verdict" itself.

When taken as a whole, Varvel's work doesn't deserve to be displayed in an outhouse, let alone on DU.
