Bush sold the east coast for $0.33 today.
The big myth I keep hearing is that just passing legislation for offshore drilling will magically cause the price of oil to drop. We all know what Bush did today and as of 8:35pm EST oil has only dropped $0.33 per barrel. Considering a standard barrel of oil holds 42 gallons, Bush sold the east coast for 0.0078571428571428571428571428571429 per gallon. Thank you Mr. President.

4. Oh I know that.
I was just testing the myth that any action would cause oil to drop. My father believes that the talk alone has some magical power to lower gas prices. He holds that when McBush started to talk about it, the prices somehow stabilized.

5. He doesnt give a shit.
This is all just a big fucking show. Offshore drilling isn't going to do shit, neither is opening up ANWR. Bush is a shill for the oil companies, and he'll keep giving them what they want at the expense of the American people (sorry, I flat-out refuse to use the term "consumer") and he's getting away with it.
