Funny moment during McCain speech today

I don't think video of it is online anywhere, but today McCain appeared at the National Council of La Raza, in San Diego. (Obama appeared at the same convention yesterday.) The local TV news showed the beginning of the speech live. The woman who introduced McCain, I assume some bigwig in the NCLR, gave a lengthy introduction of him while he stood there and twiddled his thumbs. She went on and on and on, then finally said, "Please give a warm welcome to the next... the presumptive Republican nominee for President, Senator John McCain!" I laughed because it seemed like she was about to say, "the next President of the United States!" then caught herself. Just a couple of minutes later, there was shouting in the background, and some protesters were escorted out, and McCain made a joke out of it and went on with his speech.

Rockchuck Peak, 11,000+ feet, just south of Paintbrush canyon in the Saint Johns group. Stood on top. First mountain I ever climbed. Kind of hard too.
